How to do it
- Confirm the exact electric steam dryer, accepted manual and an installed water connection. Do not add this task to a non-steam dryer or one without the connection.
- Review installation records and hose age. The cataloged LG editions specify five-year replacement on p. 26; GE Profile 49-3000386 Rev 0 specifies it on p. 15. Address cracks, leaks or wear earlier and use the exact model’s installation instructions.
- Arrange qualified appliance or plumbing service to isolate power and water, replace the correct dryer supply and Y-connector hoses, and verify secure, leak-free connections under the exact installation instructions.
- Record the completed service and hose-installation date. Do not move stacked equipment, loosen connections or handle wet electrics using this appointment guide.
