How to do it
- Confirm the exact Miele dishwasher and accepted manual. Find the six-month hose/cord safety check: p. 8 in the cataloged G 5056 and G 7186/G 7266 editions, or p. 10 in the G 5266 edition.
- Turn the dishwasher off and disconnect its electricity supply as the manual directs before maintenance. Inspect only safely accessible parts of the inlet hose, drain hose and power cord without moving the built-in appliance or opening covers.
- Look for water leaks and visible damage. Do not touch a damaged cord or wet electrical parts, handle live conductors, loosen fittings or attempt a patch.
- Arrange qualified service for inaccessible parts or damaged hoses. A damaged cord must be replaced with the specified part by Miele Customer Service or a Miele-authorized technician. Record the check after all necessary service is complete.
Stop and get help when
