How to do it
- Confirm the exact model and manual. For the supported LG LREL6325 manual, identify the weekly Occasional row on p. 55; the scraper belongs to the separate tough-stain row.
- With the cooktop cool, apply the manual-approved ceramic cooktop cream using its specified cloth or pad. Follow its directions to remove residue, rinse and dry.
- Keep after-use wiping, tough-stain treatment and oven-cavity cleaning separate. Do not transfer oven cleaners, bleach or ammonia to the cooktop.
- Record completion. Keep the manufacturer’s weekly schedule only for an applicable confirmed manual, or select a personal date explicitly.
Stop and get help when
- Cracked or chipped cooktop glass
- Burning smell or electrical fault
- Residue cannot be removed without scraping or unsafe contact
Stop using damaged glass and arrange qualified appliance service. Read the full model manual for tough stains or hot sugary spills; this guide covers cooled routine cleaning only.
